Authenticity.
The authenticity, age, and style of a piece of jewelry are determined based on a variety of factors, including the materials used, the manufacturing methods, the design, any hallmarks or signatures, the lapidary techniques, and the technological developments of the time period. Dating and period attributions are not always exact, as different styles often overlap and borrow elements from each other. Our experts use their knowledge and extensive reference library to determine the authenticity and vintage of each piece to the best of their ability.
Jewelry descriptions, grading, and karat weights.
Some of the pieces in our collection are mounted in a way that makes it difficult to accurately determine the quality of the individual stones. In these cases, we use industry-standard measurements and formulas to evaluate the stones in their settings. The descriptions of our jewelry and the stated karat weights are approximate, and the grades of the mounted stones are only determined to the extent that their mountings allow us to observe them.
Display of color.
The colors you see on your monitor may not exactly match the colors of the items, as the display of color depends on the type of monitor used.
Stock and pricing.
Due to the possibility of items going out of stock before we can remove them from our website, we cannot guarantee the availability of all items shown on the site. If an item you have ordered is no longer available, we will notify you and offer you the option of selecting a different item or receiving a full refund. We strive to provide accurate information on our website, but from time to time, errors may occur. In the event of an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the error and will not honor any incorrect prices. If we need to cancel an order after you have made payment, we will provide a full refund.
